R42 Custom Grainger high performance trimaran WEBSITE
We hope to have this beautiful beast (photo above) in Adelaide in 2019. The yacht is likely to be berthed at the CYCSA and it to be campaigned by experienced multihuller Robert Dunn. At MYASA we hope the building deadline will be expedited so we can all see this monster racing with Tony Considine's trimaran foiler (photo below) at the 2019 King of the Gulf regatta. What a sight that would be. A duel like this would see national sailing attention firmly on the King of the Gulf regatta.
Congratulations to our new committee elected last night at the MYASA Annual General Meeting.

The South Australian multihulls were represented by Robert Remilton and Wilparina 3.
The 2018 Nationals are in at Sandringham.
John Muirhead's (formerly of Enchantress fame) has arrived at the squadron with his new purchase. A Prescott Whitehaven catamaran. Looking forward to hearing more information about this boat. Looks very similar to Mark John's Aquila which is currently returning from months in Queensland. Great to have another multi in South Australia.
After some of the weighing controversies experienced by South Australian multihulls in the last few years only one multihull from SA ventured north for the Australian Multihull nationals hosted by RQYS.
All the best Robert and crew. We hope you do well. Follow the regatta results HERE
See good video with race officials righting a trimaran in Victoria.
A new Schionning catamaran has been built and launched in Beachport and has just had its mast fitted in the Robe marina. Built in 8 long years by Colin and Bev Hibberd the boat is magnificent. A number of the MYASA committee were invited to look over the yacht and no one could remember any yacht amature or professionally built that had been finished off better. An absolute credit to both Colin and Bev. The cat is going to be used to cruise the Eastern seaboard.
